Thomson DVR (digital video recorder) makes so much noise, why?
I have a Thomson DVR and i watch freeview on it, but for some reason it make so much noise even when on standby. It sounds like the fan and it makes a really annoying and odd buzzing sound constantly. Do you know why? Everything works just fine wit it though.
Just want the noise to go.
It’s the fan on the hard disk. If you know how to take it apart, fit a new fan (or strip the old one and lubricate the ends). You can usually shut them up if you raise one end slightly. Try a pencil under the foot.
