Can I paint a fiberglass entry door black?
My new entry door will receive morning sunlight and some early afternoon direct sunlight. Can I paint this fiberglass door black? I’ve heard different stories…some say ‘yes’, others say the door will warp from the heat the black paint will absorb. We are remodeling our house into a Colonial…white siding, black shutters, and my wife really wants a black front door.
I painted mine red and it looks really good and have had no problems.
