Im installing a Honeywell Aurora PIR Motion Sensor & the light stays on constantly regardless of motion. Help!?
I have this motion sensor wired into an Ademco 4110XM Security system. The entire system (Door/Window Contacts) functions flawlessly without this thing installed, but the minute I put it in, the Red LED light that indicates motion stays on no matter what, and the keypad shows whatever zone I have this thing installed on as a problem. (I have it installed on Zone 4, but have used different zones for the PIR with no change. Zone 4 works fine for Door/Window Contacts). Could anyone point me in the right direction??
Check you are observing correct polarity, wiring connections and the cover is fitted correctly. Ensure you have not connected tamper to the zone. Other than that could be a faulty pir.
