How do I buy Sentex ClikCard Remotes?
I need to buy Sentex ClikCard remotes for my apartment complex. I have looked around and cannot find the information that I am looking for. I was not able to find instruction manuals online either. The remotes are added using some Sentex Software and then attached to our gate over a telephone line. The fronts of the remotes say ClikCard in a green box. I just do not want to buy a whole box only to have them not work. Can anyone tell me what the numbers on the back of the xmitters mean? Also, what do I need to do to make sure that I get the wrong type. This is what my remotes say:
KR295 on the keychain remotes
VS295 on the Big remotes
13556 but it looks like every remote is different
FC30

The KR295 stands for Keychain Remote 295 MHz
The VS295 stands for Visor Remote 295 MHz
The 5 digit number is the remotes serial number.
The FC30 tells you that your Sentex ClikCard system runs on a Facility Code of 30. The other facility codes are FC31 and FC32.
As long as you make sure that the frequency (295 MHz) and facility code (FC30) are correct when you order the transmitters, you will be fine.
