PS3 surround sound audio set up ?
Ok i have a
Onkyo TX-SR606 reciever
Accusound E30 wireless speakers (5.1 ch)
And a PS3 outputing video/audio HDMI
Now the guy at harvey norman suggested setting the PS3 to linear PCM and when i go to sound > Audio output > HDMI > Manual
Im stuck with all these checkbox’s Dolby digital, DTS, AAC, and a bunch of linear PCM atm i checked all the PCM 5.1 ch boxs
My main aim is to get the most potential out of my set up…any advice would be greatlty appreciated thankyou
Connect PS3 to Receiver via HDMI only. Connect the Receiver to your TV via HDMI. Go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output > HDMI > Manual Settings. Then check all the selections except the 7.1 options. Save the settings and you’ll have all the best audio output for your system.
