I have a wall safe with a combination of four numbers. What procedure do I use to lock & unlock the safe?
I was given the safe & the combination. The door is open & the plunger is out so the door will not close. The safe sat around at the last owners place & they can’t quite remember the sequence to operate it. The lock itself is a sargent.
There should be a SERIAL NUMBER stamped somewhere on the locking mechanism. – I know that the Sargent Co. keeps a regsiter of all their factory manufactured combinations.
