Bought a 6750 on ebay for 80 quid and it hits 3.5 ghz with a freezer 7 stuck over it. Get at least a 6600.
It will bottleneck your 8800gt dramatically. Why the new hard drive?
Don’t revert to AMD at the moment, for gaming they can’t compete with Core2Duo’s and quads.
