What is the difference between quad brand and tri band?
In every mobile they indicate this is quad brand and that is tri band. which is good and what is the purpose
they are various frequencies at which the signal from your phone travel. in usa or canada, phones generally are triband because they use one of the three available frequencies. if you go to asia or europe, you will find that they use quadband which is another frequency not used here in north america. the direct link is between the current voltage we use. if a country uses 120V, then the phones are generally triband since the telephone servers are built that way, and if you go to a country which uses 240 volts, then they use the quadband service. this doesnt mean that they use all 4 frequencies in a quad band, they just use the 4th frequency.
