How can i secure my wireless broadband connection?
I’ve just installed a wireless router and noticed that my connection is unsecured. I want to secure it? I’ve gone through all information pack, instruction…. etc, haven’t got a clue, can you please help? thanks
Ok, I know how to enable that, but where can I get the network key?
Enable WPA-PSK
Choose a strong password. AKA Network Key
The key is a password, in the form of a word, phrase or series of letters and numbers. The key must be between 8 and 63 characters long and can include spaces and symbols, or 64 Hex(0-F) only. Each client that connects to the network must use the same key (Pre-Shared Key).
If WPA is unavailable on your router then use WEP, but only as a last resort. WEP is easily cracked.
