Can you drink underage in New Orleans with parental consent?
I’m going to New Orleans with my mother tomorrow morning for Jazz Fest. I’ve read that you can be served under 21 if you are with a parent or guardian over the age of 21 at a bar/restaurant. I am 18 years old. Is this true?
And if it isn’t true, is it likely that I will be served anyway without an ID?
