I got DSC alarm system in my house.one of my wireless zone got problem.I want to delete,that zone from system?
Now I have to bypass every time.
What type of DSC?
You would need to go into the programming through the keypad and null the zone out and remove it from the partition.
I need to know what type of panel you have though. Most DSC systems are universal when it comes to the programming but some are not.
Locate your panel (not the keypad but the panel: the brains of it). It should be a small beige box that says DSC on it. Typically the panel is installed near electrical/breaker boxes but it also could be in a closet somewhere.
The only thing though is you need the installers code to access the programming from the keypad. If you don’t have monitoring there’s a good chance we can guess it. If you do have monitoring I would suggest you call the company you’re with and just ask them to dial into the panel and null the zone out.
